The soft starter will need to be maintained after running for a period of time. Routine maintenance does not mean that it needs to be cleaned every day, but a corresponding maintenance plan needs to be formulated.
First, observe the operation status of the fan.
Once the fan speed is found to be slow or abnormal, it should be repaired in time (such as removing grease and dust, adding lubricating oil, replacing damaged or deteriorated capacitors). Damaged fans should be replaced in time. If the soft starter is used without a fan, the thyristor will be damaged.
If the soft starter is used in a humid environment or prone to condensation, it should be dried frequently with an infrared light bulb or a hair dryer to remove moisture, so as to avoid electric leakage or short circuit accidents
Two: pay attention to check the use environment of the fan soft starter
Because the soft starter needs to ensure sufficient heat dissipation, make sure that there are no objects that hinder the heat dissipation of the soft starter, and ensure that there is enough space around the soft starter.
Three: Check the use of accessories.
Check whether the wiring terminals are loose, and regularly clean up the dust to prevent it from affecting heat dissipation and avoiding leakage and short circuits caused by dust accumulation.
If the non-working soft starter has been stored for a long time, a power-on test must be carried out within half a year. When powering on, use a voltage regulator to slowly increase to the rated value for nearly 5 hours without load.
