If the user does not specifically need external control, we can tell the user to avoid this fault by setting the soft internal function code "9" (control mode) parameter to "1" (keyboard control).
soft starter maintenance failure - F 02 (starting time is too long):
This fault is caused by the soft starter's current limit setting being too low and the soft starter's starting time is too long. In this case, we can soften the internal function code "4" (limit starting current). The parameter setting is higher, it can be set to 1.5~2.0 times. It must be noted whether the motor power level matches the power level of the soft starter. If it does not match, in the case of a large difference, the barbaric parameter is set to 4~5 times, after starting for a period of time, the internal silicon module or the thyristor may be burned out due to excessive current.
soft starter maintenance failure - F 03 (overheating):
This fault is caused by the fact that the soft starter starts too frequently in a short period of time. We should tell the user that when the soft start is performed, the number of starts should not exceed 12 times per hour.
soft starter maintenance failure -F 04 (input phase loss):
There are many factors that cause this failure, some of which are listed below:
(1) Check if the incoming power and motor wiring are loose;
(2) Whether the output is connected to the load, and whether the load matches the motor;
(3) Use a multimeter to detect whether the module or thyristor of the soft starter has breakdown, and whether their trigger gate resistance meets the requirements of normal conditions (generally around 20~30 ohms);
(4) Is the internal wiring socket loose?
All of these factors may cause this failure to occur, as long as careful inspection and accurate judgment can be ruled out.
soft starter maintenance failure -F 05 (frequency error):
This failure is caused by the fact that the soft starter has a problem in handling the internal power signal, causing the power frequency to make a mistake. This situation needs to be consulted by the company's product development software design engineer. Mainly to improve the power circuit design.
soft starter maintenance failure -F 06 (parameters made mistakes):
To raise this fault, you need to reboot and enter the factory value once. Detailed operation: first break the soft starter control power (AC 220V) with a finger press and hold the "PRG" button on the soft control panel, then send the soft starter control power, release the "PRG" after about 30S "Key, re-enter the factory value.
soft starter maintenance failure -F 07 (starting overcurrent):
The overcurrent is started because the load is too heavy and the starting current is more than 500%. To solve this problem, set the soft internal function code “0” (starting voltage) higher, or set the function code “1”. The "rise time" setting is longer and can be set to: 30~60S.
